The Council for Minnesota Archaeology is announcing a call for sessions, papers, or posters for its biennial conference, hosted this year by the Minnesota Historical Society.
The conference is open to all researchers at any stage of their career, whether academic, students, CRM or community archaeologists, to present recent research on any aspect of Minnesota or Upper Midwest archaeology.
Paper and poster abstract submissions should not exceed 200 words, with papers not to exceed 15 minutes in length. Send any session requests and inquiries, general questions, and abstracts to Laura Koski (email@example.com) and Lucy Harrington (firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than January 31, 2023

Paper and Poster Presentations – In-Person 9am to 4pm February 25th
Daytime Friday the 24th will be entirely virtual via Zoom.
Evening Friday the 24th will include an in-person dinner followed by the Elden Johnson lecture at the Historic Fort Snelling Plank Museum and Visitor Center.
Saturday the 25th will be in-person at the above address with a live streaming option.
Attendance Fees: This conference is free to attend.
Student Paper Prize: There will be a student paper prize award of $250 if a sufficient number of submittals are received.
Sponsorships: The conference is free to attendees, but running it still comes at a cost. If you’re interested in helping support the conference, options are listed below:
