2023 Conference

Thank you to all who attended and presented at this year’s CMA Conference!
Conference recordings have been posted on the CMA YouTube page found at this link.
Student Prize Winners
There were two financial awards available for student presenters: one for the undergraduate level, and one for the graduate level. Both awards were for $250. The presentation could be either in a paper or poster format, but the student had to verify they were majorly responsible for all research and writing with minimal additions from advisors or other professional co-authors. There were a total of eleven student competitors.
The winners are:
Graduate Level: Emily Briggs (University of Minnesota – Twin Cities) for her paper “Advancing repatriation under NAGPRA using isotope methods – A case study of Minnesota“
Undergraduate Level: Adam Herman and Jesse Krzyzaniak (University of Minnesota – Duluth) for their poster “Creating a Dichotomous Key for Identification of Trade Axes (1600-1900) in the Western Great Lakes Region“
Congrats to all who participated!
